We get retail information on Tuesday and Wednesday -- ICSC and Redbook on Tuesday and Census information on Wednesday. So far, the news out of the retail sector has not been good -- in fact, it's been downright terrible. Considering 2/3 of the US economy is consumer based this should cause some concern for everyone.
International trade data comes out on Thursday.
Friday we get industrial production and the Empire state index.
I'm note sure what I expect from the markets at this point. I'll think about that overnight and tomorrow and let you know.
