More On The Jobs Data

Capital Spectator is an economic blog I read regularly. This is a chart from their website that has a 12-month moving average of employment gains.

The graph indicates the employment picture has been spotty for about a year now.

I don't think the employment picture is completely clear yet. Immigration laws may have a big role yet to be seen. The only safe bet is that residential employment will be declining, though many of the construction/broker/etc workers may transfer to the commercial real estate sector.
