Boring nerds for a boring economy
I know you've been harping on infrastructure spending for quite some time - I'm right there with you. Fortunately, it looks like no one was killed - but I'd like to see a study on the cost of a new bridge or suitable repairs (before this happened), and the cost of fixing things now, AND the economic impact of having the bridge unavailable for who knows how long.
maybe we should reform our entitlement system
That certainly makes a lot of sense anon. Since it is only the poor and retired who use these bridges.
Your tax cuts at work!
Welcome to the third world where you can't be sure the quality of the work on bridge or building.
It isn't the infrastructure, it is the driver that hit the bridge. While the propaganda machine would like all of us to replace infrastructure in the name of more government spending and stimulus, I'd vote for the media actually sharing with us that the driver of the truck destroyed the bridge.
I guarantee this has something to do with the Benghazi coverup... what did the truck driver know?!?!
"It isn't the infrastructure, it is the driver that hit the bridge" LOL!
