Correction to my previous post:
Bull means up. A bull's horns go up when it attacks.
Bear means down. A bear's claws come down when it attacks.
To me they're like Starsky & Hutch, I'm always mixing them up!
It would be a great idea to hot-link these technical terms so laypeople who read your blog might understand what you are saying.
I know that stocks can go up, down, or sideways, but when you start talking about flags you lose me.
"Bull" seems to indicate down.
Are you saying stocks are about to go down?
