Weekend Weimar, Beagle and Pit Bull; In Memorial

As regular readers of this blog know, I usually put up pictures of our dogs on Friday afternoon.  Unfortunately, we lost one of our pups this week,  Scooby Doo.  Words don't come close to expressing how important animals are to me and Mrs. Bondad, so I won't even try.  Instead, I'll just leave you with these pictures or our girl.  She will be missed.

Very sad -- truly, thank you for being such a caring person.

So sorry to hear it. Losing our pets eventually is one of the hardest things about having them, though of course they're well worth it. They add so much to life.

I hope it was a kind way out and I'm sure she knew that she was adored.

That pup was lucky to have such loving parents. I've got a few waiting for me on the other side too. Miss them a lot.

Hale--I'm reading this on Friday, February 1. Last night, we had to put our beloved Houston to sleep.

I know how you feel.

Bondad, I am very sorry. I too am a dog lover and I sympathize with your loss of companionship. Scooby Doo was an adorable girl. Her memory will never be lost. Please someday, when the time is right, give yourself to caring for another puppy...they deserve you.

I read this blog and probably understand about a fifth of it. This I get. I'm really sorry you lost your dog Hale.

RIP Scooby, maybe she and Barney (the only Bush I ever liked) are playing in dog heaven.

I'm sorry about your beagle Scooby Doo. I always enjoy seeing pictures of your dogs. Pets become members of our family and it's sad when they pass on. RIP.

Sorry to hear about your pet. Only a fellow dog lover can understand your pain. I have been there and done that and understand.
